Senior Trips

Join us on a senior trip! Trips require advance registration. Registration opens on the first day of the month before the trip date. Once you have a Link Account, you may register at the customer service desk, online or via phone. Register early. Trips sell out fast!  If a trip is full, we encourage you to register for the waitlist and we will contact you if an opportunity becomes available. 

Creative Hands Ceramics Studio

Bring your creative side and design your own ceramic bowl, plate or mug.  After we’re done painting, they will glaze and fire your piece.  Pickup your masterpiece at The Link two weeks later. We will eat lunch first. Bring money for lunch at Catfish Sams.

Gone With the Wind Remembered Museum

Celebrate the 85th anniversary of GWTW by visiting one of the most comprehensive collections of memorabilia in the world including original costuming and props.  Civil War artifacts are also on display.  Bring money for lunch at The Garden of Eating Bistro.

Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House Museum

Step back in time when cattle barons ruled.  Experience the opulence of the finest Victorian residence in North Texas, the elegant, 1899 Ball Eddleman McFarland House.  Bring money for lunch because then we’ll head to Angelo’s BBQ, opened in 1958 and is World-famous for its BBQ meats.

Log Cabin Village

Log Cabin Village is a living history museum dedicated to the preservation of 19th c. folk architecture and frontier lifeways.  At your own pace, you will visit nine structures dating from the mid to late 1800s with historical interpreters giving demonstration and answering questions.  Bring money for lunch at The Purple Frog Restaurant.

Empowering Seniors Expo

It’s a comprehensive lifestyle and wellness event. The Expo will feature engaging workshops, health screenings, entertainment, demonstrations, complimentary food and numerous exhibitor booths.
