History of The Link
The Link Event and Recreation Center is a multi-purpose community facility for all ages. It opened in April 2017 with the purpose of cultivating relationships with the citizens of Richland Hills and surrounding areas. The Link focuses on several avenues to improve fitness, promote creative arts, and enhance education for all who use the facility.
Located in the heart of Richland Hills, everyone in the community can have an enjoyable experience in a safe and comfortable environment. The Link could not do the aforementioned things without support from the City of Richland Hills.

Membership Fees
The City took much time and diligence when it came to deciding on membership prices. Privately owned facilities are priced to make a profit. Some facilities offer more and then charge more. Municipal groups also have to choose whether to have high or low level of general fund subsidizing. In Richland Hills, the general fund (taxes collected) only subsidizes $200,000 of the operational expenses. The Link's fees are scheduled to be the largest component of the revenue, not the tax base.
There are several options for you, your family, and your community neighbors to enjoy The Link and what it offers. For more information on memberships and usage, please see the Membership page.
Mission & Vision
The Link Event and Recreation Center and its fiscal responsible ideals will bring the community together and promote an evolved level in quality of life with programs in education, fitness, recreation, the arts and sports. Its events and facilities will offer residents, businesses and visitors opportunities that are balanced in high quality service and experience.
The Link Event and Recreation Center will be an avenue for improved quality of life and fostering a sense of community. It will be a regional hub for recreational programming and hosting events that will be a benchmark for others to model.
